Kerroin toukokuussa Nokka kohti kesää -tapahtumasta, jossa voitin lahjakortin Viking Linen päiväristeilylle joko Gabriellalla tai Mariellalla. Lahjakortti oli voimassa elokuun puoleenväliin asti, joten se piti käyttää ennen Välimeren risteilyä. Niimpä lähdimme avustajani kanssa taksilla jo ennen
kello kymmentä kohti Katajanokkaa ja Viking Linen terminaalia. Saavuttuamme Mariellalle ajattelin mennä ensin kahvilaan, mutta kaikki pöydät olivat täynnä. Niimpä menimme ulkokannelle.
In may I told you about
the heading towards the summer event from which I won a gift card to a day
cruise on either Viking Line’s Gabriella or Mariella. The gift card was valid till
mid-August, so it had to be used before the trip to the Mediterranean. Thus, we
took a taxi towards Katajanokka and the Viking Line terminal. As we arrived to
Mariella, I thought I’d have a cup in a cafe but it was full and we headed to
the outside deck.
Sää oli todella kaunis ja aurinkoinen. Lämpötila yli 20 astetta.
The weather was really
beautiful and sunny. The temperature was over 20 degrees.

Ulkokannella fiilistelyn jälkeen oli hienon taikashown vuoro ja sitten söimme.
Show sopi kaikille. Tykkäsin siitä itsekin.
Itse valitsin pääruoaksi lohta, avustaja kasvishampurilaisen. Ruoka oli tosi hyvää.
Jälkkäriksi otin jätskiä ja mansikoita.
After chilling at the outside deck, it was time for a cool magic show after which we decided to grab a bite to eat. The show was suitable for all and I liked it too. I chose salmon as main course and my assistant took a veggie burger. The food was really good. I also had ice cream and strawberries for dessert.
Ostokset jäivät vähemmälle, kun piti säästää Välimerelle. Oli oikein kiva risteily.
Päiväristeilyt ovat helppoja ja edullisia, uudenkin avustajan kanssa voi hyvin lähteä, koska risteily on lyhyt ja yöksi pääsee kotiin. Humalaisia en nähnyt yhtään.
Ohjelmaa riitti koko ajan taikurista karaokeen. Kotona olin alkuillasta, kuuden maissa. Olisin viihtynyt mainiosti vielä muutaman tunnin.
Eckerö Linen päiväristeily kestää iltaan asti ja siellä pääsee Tallinnassa maihinkin.

I didn’t do much shopping cause I had to save
up for the Mediterranean cruise. The cruise was really nice. The day cruises
are easy and cheap. One can easily go to one with a new assistant as well, as
they are short and you get to go home for the night. I didn’t see any drunken
people. There was some program to take part in from a magician to karaoke. I was
back at home early evening around six. I would’ve happily stayed for few more
hours. The day cruise of Eckerö Line lasts till late night and you can also go
off board in Tallinn. I recommend both of them!
