Moikka ja terveiset Hämeenlinnasta! Pahoittelut myös pienestä blogihiljaisuudesta, työharjottelun kiireet ovat hiukan hiljentäneet blogiani, nyt on kuitenkin aika taas palata sen pariin.
Hämeenlinnasta tulossa juttu myöhemmin, nyt kerron Välimeren risteilyn viihteestä.
Hi and regards from Hämeenlinna! I’d also like to apologise for the slight blog- silence, my internship has kept me quite busy but now it’s time to get back to writing it. There will be a separate story coming about Hämeenlinna later but now I’ll tell you about the entertainment on the cruise.
Sitäkin laivalla kyllä riitti, tässä jutussa parhaat palat. Cruise Compass-niminen risteilyohjelma tuotiin päivittäin hyttiimme. Se oli ainakin neljä kertaa Tallinksiljan tai Vikinglinen ohjelmaa suurempi.Siitä löytyi myös käytännön tietoja seuraavan päivän kohteesta ja säästä sekä ravintoloiden aukioloajat ja tarjoukset.
There were plenty of it
there and here’s the best bits from it. Daily we got a cruise program brought
to us, called the Cruise Compass. It was at least four times bigger than the
ones of Tallink silja or Viking line. It also had info on the next destination,
the weather and the opening times for the restaurants as well as their offers.
Laivalla tapahtui ympäri vuorokauden. Ohjelmassa oli päivä,-iltapäivä ja ilta -aktiviteetteja, myös yödisko löytyi. Valinnanvaraa riittielokuvista ja teattereista visailuihin ja musiikkiin. Yksi parhaista ohjelmista oli Coral Theatren esitys from Broadway to London. Se oli oikeastaan sikermä, jossa oli pätkiä eri musikaaleista.Väliaikatarjoilua ei ollut, mutta join yhden Pina Coladan esityksen aikana.
Musiikkivisailut ja bändit olivat myös hienoja. Olin myös taidehuutokaupassa, jossa saimme shampanjalasilliset ja Tuula osti kaksi taulua. Kylpylähoidot jäivät nyt käyttämättä, ne olivat aika kalliita. Elokuvateatterikin löytyi ja myös uima-altaalla näytettiin elokuvia. Allas oli hengailuallas, se oli liian pieni uimiseen ja kloorattu merivesi kirveli silmiä. Harmi, odotin parempia uintimahdollisuuksia.
There was something happening on board 24/7. There were activities for daytime, afternoon, evening and night, they even had a night disco. There were options from films and theatre to quizzes and music. One of the best programs was from Broadway to London by Coral Theatre. Actually, it was a medley, which had bits from different musicals. There was no half time serving but I had one Pina Colada during the performance. The music quizzes and bands were also great. I also took part in an art auction, where we had a glass of champagne and Tuula bought two paintings. I didn’t try the spa this time, as the treatments were quite expensive. The ship also had a movie theatre and they showed films on a pool as well. The pool was only a chill out pool and thus it was too small for swimming and the chlorinated sea water stung the eyes. Such a shame, I expected to have better swimming opportunities.
