Vierailu presidentinlinnassa/ Visit at the presidential palace

Presidentinlinnassa oli tänään avoimien ovien päivä. Menin sinne taksilla puolenpäivän aikaan,
jono oli tosi pitkä.  Ensin linnan työntekijä tarkasti reppuni, pääsin sisälle. Porrashissillä menin mariankadun aulaan, aulavitriineissa oli hienoja lasiesineitä. Jatkoin matkaa Atriumiin ja sieltä valtiosaliin. Valtiosalissa pidetään itsenäisyyspäivän juhlavastaanotto.
Se oli saleista hienoin, siellä oli eniten kristallikruunuja.

There was an open day at the presidential palace today. I went there around noon, the queue was super long. First an employee of the castle checked my backpack and I was allowed in. I took a stairlift to the hall in mariankatu. There was some fine glass ornaments in the vitrine of the hall. I continued to the Atrium and from there to the ball room, in which the Independence Day reception is held. It was the finest of all the halls and it had the most Christal crowns.     

Sieltä kierros jatkui ruokasaliin, johon katetaan itsenäisyyspäivän juhlien tarjoilut.
Ruokasalissa pidetään myös pienempiä tilaisuuksia.
Linnassa on myös Peilisali ja kultainen sali, nekin olivat ihan kauniita, mitään erityistä niissä ei kuitenkaan ollut.

From there the round continued to the dining room where they have the servings during the Independence Day reception. Some smaller events are also held there. In the palace there's also the mirror hall and the golden hall, which were beautiful but nothing special.    

Esteettömyys ja palvelu tutustumiskierroksella/ accessibility and service during the open day

Esteettömyyttä on parannettu remontin aikana, oli hyvät hissit ja tilat muutenkin. Pieniä kynnyksiä toki on, mutta ne eivät liikkumista haittaa. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä, esteetön reitti hyvin suunniteltu. Kierros oli hyvin suunniteltu ja mielenkiintoinen.

They had improved the accessibility in the reform, the lifts were good as were the surroundings in general. Of course there were some small thresholds but they don't have affect.  The staff was very friendly, the accessible route well thought out. The tour was well planned and interesting.
