Nokka kohti kesää 27.5./ Heading towards the summer May 27th

Moi! Nyt luvassa lisää laiva-ja risteilyasiaa kesään liittyen. Sehän sopiikin ajankohtaan, onhan kesäkuu. Otin varaslähdön kesään viime perjantaina. Olin Nokka kohti kesää-tapahtumassa Katajanokalla Viking Linen terminaalissa sekä tutustumassa uudistettuun Gabriellaan ja minimessuilla Scandic Hotel Grand Marinassa. Näin tapahtumasta ilmotuksen Facebookissa ja päätin heti lähteä. Monipuolinen ohjelma kiinnosti, eikä ollut kouluakaan, joten eikun menoksi!

Hi! As promised now I give you more info about ships and cruises in terms of next summer. It suits the time as it's June. I jumped the gun with summer last Friday, when I participated in heading towards the summer-event in Katajanokka at Viking Line's terminal, checking out the renewed Gabriella as well as mini-exhibition at the Scandic Hotel Grand Marina. I saw an advert of the event in Facebook and decided to go. The versatile program interested me and I had no school so let's go!

Ensin menimme terminaaliin, siellä olikin jo paljon väkeä jonossa odottamassa tutustumiskierrosta. Viking linen työntekijät opastivat kierroksella, se oli hyvin organisoitu ja esteetön.
Laitoin Visitor-kyltin kaulaani ja menimme katsomaan hyttejä.

We went to the terminal first, and there was many people queuing up for the tour. The personnel of Viking line were guiding us on the tour, it was well organized and accessible.
I hanged my Visitor-sign to my neck and headed off to see the cabins.

 Hytit, joita näimme, olivat perushyttejä, b-tai c-luokkaan kuuluvia. Ihan kivoja ja siistejä, mutta eivät erityisen hienoja. A-luokan hyttejä emme kierroksella nähneet.

The cabins that we saw basic cabins from class b or c, they were nice and clean but nothing fancy. We didn’t get to see the a level cabins on the tour.

Kahvilat ja ravintolat olivat kivan näköisiä, varsinkin uusi grilliravintola. Koska kyseessä oli vain tutustuminen, en käynyt syömässä. Meille ei tarjottu mitään. Pieni välipala olisi kyllä maistunut.

The cafés and restaurants looked nice, especially one new grill restaurant. As it was only a tour, I didn't go to eat. There were no free snacks etc. either. A small snack would've been nice though.
