Matkailun kalleus harmittaa/ Annoyed by the high price of traveling

Matkailu on ihanaa, mut sen huono puoli on kalleus. Välimeren risteilystä meni ennakkomaksua 800 euroa, ja tänään maksoin loppumaksun 2630 euroa. Yhteensä matka maksoi siis n. 3300 e multa ja Tuulalta. Nyt se on maksettu, hyvä! Silti matkan kalleus vähän ärsyttää, voi olla että Las Palmasin matka marraskuussa jää nyt tekemättä. Olis varmaan kannattanu varata tää jo alunperin marraskuulle. Onhan tää matkakuume kroonista ja jatkuvaa, pimeenä aikana se on suurimmillaan.

Traveling is awesome but the downside of it is that it's so expensive. The deposit of the Mediterranean cruise was 800 Euros, and I paid the rest 2630 Euros. The total cost of the trip was about 3300 e from me and Tuula, which is now paid for, good! Still I’m a bit annoyed by the high price, maybe I wont be able to go to Las Palmas in November now. It might have been a good idea to book the cruise for November, as this travel fever is chronic and continues plus during the darkest period it's at it's worst.

Ymmärrän toki, ettei viikon täysihoito luksuslaivalla ilmaista ole ja asiakkailtahan se raha tulee. Toki laivan ylläpitokin maksaa ja työntekijöillä on oikeus palkkaansa.
Mutta koska Rooman lentokenttä on kaukana risteilyn satamasta, on sinne otettava invataksi, joka maksaa 250 euroa per suunta. Miksi sen pitää olla niin kallis? Tuntuu että vammalla rahastetaan.

  Naturally, I understand that a week long full board on a luxury ship isn't free and it's the costumers that bring in the money and the maintenance of the ship costs too as well as the salaries of the crew. But due to the airport of Rome being so far from the harbor, we had to take an accessible cab to get there, which costs 250 Euros one way. Why does it have to be so expensive? It feels like a cash in with disability.

Ilman invataksia tää matka maksais noin 2800-2900 euroa meiltä molemmilta. Hotellit ja muut ja matkailualalla toimivat yritykset saisivat myös antaa avustajille vaikka 30 % alennuksen, saavathan lapsetkin alennusta.
Kyllä tällä hinnalla pitäs saada jo 10 päivän risteily parvekehytissä.

Without the accessible cab this trip would cost about 2800-2900 Euros for us both. Hotels and companies on the traveling businesses could also give assistant's a 30 % discount or something, even children get them. With this price one should get a 10 day cruise in a cabin with a balcony.
